Appearance:
Although Kureno is 328 he looks like he would be 23. His height would be 6'2" and has a standard body build. The color of his skin is a medium tan. His hair is shaven at the sides and most of back only to have a good amount on the top. His bangs are only 1/2 an inch from the top of his head, and his hair color is a really dark brown . His face isn't too big nor too small, it is around the in-between area. For facial hair, he has a nub of hair between his mouth and chin and fuzz on his jaw. His eye brows aren't to bushy nor thin, and his eye color is hazel.
Over his uniform, Kureno wears a black hoodie, and on the back is the same design as the hilt. He wears the hoodie open to reveal some of his uniform, as well as his well built body. His uniform,as well as the hoodie, is cut off at the sleeves to reveal a few scars on his arms.
Personality:
Before Kureno died he was a 'go kill everything' type of guy, however, now he takes enjoyment in other things than just fighting. He had recently (meaning 200 years ago) obtained a sense of humor which he uses quite frequently. To him, the real world has become much more interesting than it was when he died. What mostly peaked Kureno's interest was motor vehicles, because... well actually he doesn't know why.
When he is confronted by enemies, he has the confidence that he is able to defeat them. However, it isn't actually winning he is concerned about, it is the fun of the battle that makes his day. Also, as courtesy to his opponent you would see him train frequently so that his opponent may also have a fun time also. Although he doesn't make a habit of it, he does occasionally help others, but only when it wouldn't be quite an annoyance. Other than that, Kureno is a good person to get along with as long as your not his enemy.
Biography:
When Kureno was alive he had died at the age of 17. He had just graduated from an academy that trained him into Knighthood. However, he was stripped of his status and placed as a normal soldier and died as a normal soldier. He loved the sensation of fighting like in this day people love the sensation of roller coasters.
While he was in Rukongai he had trained and trained to become a Shinigami. He protected what is now his family against many upon many attacks. Being that he's been dead for 311 years, he has obtained plenty of friends as well as enemies in Rukongai. After he died, he used much sense of humor in his fights and is famous for somewhat annoying his enemy (or cause his enemy to laugh hysterically). He is a much kinder and a funnier person than when he was alive, but one thing hasn't changed... his thrill of fighting.
The reason why he hadn't entered the academy sooner in his dead life, was because of his own self satisfaction. He didn't believe that he was ready to enter the Shinigami Academy, after all he had died in battle and it wasn't exactly the way he wanted to go. It took him 250 years to actually begin to feel comfortable in the fighting style that he himself had created. While of course when one trains on his own with the sword, a personal fighting style is obvious. However, this is a fighting style that took 250 years to come 3/4s of the way to, and its still a working progress. He name it the "Rolling Blade", being that the butt of the sword rolls in his hand. (You'd understand what I mean after my first real mission)

Zanpakuto appearance:
The Blade is 110 cm long, while the hilt is 20 cmand the Blade has a 20 degree curve. The weight of the sword is 80 ounces. The hilt as well as the guard is a cylinder (imagine the hilt of a golf club). The guard is 1/4 an inch long, and its color is Black. It would look like there is no guard if not looked at close enough. The hilt has a design which is just a long stretched out "S". The Hilt's color is black, while the design is a dark green. The Hilt has mostly a grip on it(like a golf club). He keeps the Zanpakutou on his back, the hilt is facing towards his right shoulder. Due to the curve it can be unsheathed rather quickly. The width of the blade is 3/4 an inch.
