Now that we've been re opened for a couple of weeks, I've decided to compile a list of rules so that applications can have a better guideline of do’s and don’ts. Failure to abide by these rules will result in delay of acceptance, and possible banning from the BARPG.

1. Obviously all applications should comply with the forum rules, and the BARPG general rules.

2. An application moderator may delay any application for a set number of weeks for any reason.

3. Do not PM an application moderator to look at your application unless it has gone 5 days without any response. (We should almost never go this long without responding, but if we do, then it’s fine to PM us to get our attention.)

4. Do not post in the “Final Applications” thread until you have received at least one critique from a moderator.

5. Do not make reference to characters from Bleach the anime. They no longer exist in our universe, as the BARPG takes place several thousand years after the anime.

6. Also, do not use a character from bleach or any existing TV show, movie, or book, or any real life person as a descriptive term. ( “His hair is like Ichigo.” or, “He was big and strong like Arnold Schwarzenegger.” It is lazy, and would be much better to say: “His hair was bright orange and spiky.” or, “He was a large man, with big strong muscles. He always tried to pump you up.” ) If you want your character to look like someone, then describe them.

7. Our format for writing missions here in the BARPG is to write them in 3rd person and past tense. All applications should be written this way. Writing in 1st person, script format, or in any other format may result in being asked to rewrite your application.

8. If your application has been denied, you are still free to try again. Take the time to go over your application and fix it appropriately. Making minor changes over and over again may result in a greater delay in your being accepted.

Follow these rules, and you’ll be on a good start to making a great application.
