I was formerly under Ascerino in the 10th, before the Reformation.
Name: Krull
Age: He died at 34 in the Real world. He is about 64 in the Soul Society.
Appearance: Krull is a large man by almost anyone's standards. He stands at nearly 6' 8" with extremely broad shoulders. His shoulders compliment his chest as it tapers down to his waist. Due to the fact that he is so tall and that almost every inch is well built the man is nearly 430 lbs. If another man was to measure from the front of his chest to his back they would discover it is almost 2 feet thick. This bulk however does not seem to bother him as it is well balanced across most of his body. He is a darker skinned man (Much like a American Indian) with black hair that reaches down to his mid back. He mostly keeps it in a crude pony tail tied once at where his neck is. His body is covered in scars in which he proudly displays when ever he can. The most stunning feature about him is his face where a large tattoo covers the whole thing. At some point in his life he was tattooed against his will. The captures first tattooed his whole face black, and then they came back to tattoo him with hundreds of white cracks that run across his face. The tattooer was a true artist for at a glance it can sometimes look like his face is truly broken with pieces moments from falling free. Combined with his light yellow eyes and a broad smile that displays huge white teeth it can be a truly terrifying sight.
His garb matches his personality. He wears the traditional shinigami dress except for the shoes are a type of leather that has been pressed for many days. Creating a rock solid encasing that molds to his feet. His pants are the traditional black material, but they are held up by a brownish leather belt. This belt is usually covered by parts that he has taken as trophies from downed foes (usually earrings, tokens and other things of that nature. Plus a ear to remind someone that he owns them, but that is another story). He wears a jacket usually across his soldiers but the thing is so worn out that it is full of missing cloth. He wears nothing on his chest except for the strap to the sheath for his zanpakuto. A thin piece of leather is looped around his neck where two tiny skulls dangle.
Personality: Krull is the embodiment of hate, dread and disdain for all things living. To those around him his only true reason he gives for life is to fight and to win. To most it would seem he was nothing more than a simple barbarian that only enjoys the suffering of others. His actions boggle the minds of most of his peers due to them only understanding a set of laws and principles they abide by. Only his closest of peers will ever truly see that he is the most strict and ridge follower of rules. The only problem is his rules are counter to the rules of society. Krull doesn't mind carrying on a conversation, but don't become surprised if he is blunt or rude. He is not a nice man, and don't be surprised if he lets you know what exactly he thinks of you. Plus he has no time for heroes or the general "I am here for the greater good" crowd in which he considers them to be foolish. One thing that is very surprising about Krull is his ability to be extremely patient. He has also been known to sit for hours to wait for his opponent to come to fight him. Plus he has a thing about making boisterous claims and when people doubt him he will tells them to "Witness". He is truly a very unpleasant and hateful person to be around.
Biography: To no surprise Krull began his life in the soul society at the lowest possible point in Rukongai 80. His first few years were blood soaked and bitter as fought daily just for life. At some time during those first few years he developed his "Code". The "Code" became the rules that he based the way he live on. It wasn't long before a sly young thief named Ryo discovered and formed a partnership with Krull. Then before the year was done they had formed their own gang. The gang became known as the D&D boys, or to be more correct the Down and Dirty gang. It took them almost 3 years to become one of the top gangs in Rukongai 80. They had achieve the position of power through a campaign of murder and destruction with Krull being one of the key players. Only they soon found out it wasn't hard to become number one, it was just hard to stay number one. In a single night three rival gangs of the D&D boys executed a plan that destroyed the gang. Most of the members were wiped out and those who weren't killed in the original fighting were executed the next morning including Ryo. Due to the large amount of murders and killing that Krull had preformed on the 3 gangs he was kept alive to torture. He was paraded around on a large X shaped cross. Where he was positioned to watch the executions. For the next 19 years he spent his time as a prisoner. While there he received his tattoo and found his true hate for all things weak. He escaped his confinements one night and proceeded to kill every gang member in the house above his cell. Over the next year he hunted down anyone he had seen or heard that took part in the destruction of his "Boys". The day he finished he began his walk from Rukongai 80 until he came to the Grand Gates.
Division: The 11th
Zanpakuto appearance: His Zanpakuto has a slight bend in the blade as it stretches 76 centimeters. The blade is also ribbed but it is amazingly dull to the touch. Plus the blade is much thicker than most zanpakuto's and measure's almost a 6inches width at the middle of the blade. The handle is also unusual in that it has a solid white hand guard that covers his knuckles when he holds it. The entire blade is white including the handle the only variation comes on the end where a black string is split into two. On the end of each string is a small skull. One skull is silver and the other is blood red. When fighting with the sword Krull uses it as a person would use a 1 handed short sword. Allowing him a much more fluid and complex fighting style. The handle covering and small size of the weapon allow him to use the whole of the sword to be his weapon. Allowing him to use his immense strength to batter down smaller foes.
From my understanding I don't need to write a sample story since I already had a character once. If I am wrong let me know and I will whip one up. Thanks
