At first glance, Ace looks like any regular person you would see on the streets. The 176 centimetre tall man weighs a grand total of 60 kilograms, something you would expect of someone with a well-built body like his. This lean and fit figure of Ace strikes an imposing demeanour; however, his toned muscles are not bulky and take up a good shape.
Blending with his jet black pupils are dark-brown irises that occupy his narrow almond-shaped eyes. His dark hair with several dark brown streaks running across is always combed back neatly. Light-brown skin surrounds his entire body, while his face has remained very clean, with no sign of any facial impurity.
Ace usually keeps a preset style of clothing which is a long-sleeved buttoned pin-striped shirt of varying colours which is red most of the time, a waistcoat, and long pants. He wears plain-coloured unlaced shoes that fit his current dressing. He might occasionally don a brown bear fur coat. The most notable feature of his dress code is a silver earring which he always has on his right ear. It is not known whether it has any significance whatsoever.

Ace has pretty good looks to start with, and as they say, all handsome men are womanizers. The rule applies on this man as well. However, he can be devoted to a woman if he sets his heart to it, and this part of his personality draws a line from him and his like-minded peers.
Glutton:
One of life’s greatest pleasures is to eat, and Ace shares the same thought to an extent. He had a humble upbringing and therefore knows how tough it is to fill his stomach everyday despite pocketing a steady income in his current environment. Ace know the feeling of going hungry and it is one of the key reasons why the man is so determined to earn his keep – to not go hungry again.
Greed:
Resulted by being so poor since he was young, Ace is driven by greed which may sometimes cause his to do things that go against ones conscience. He could occasionally resort to disloyalty and violence as means to attain wealth; however, it should be known that he would not go to the extremes to do so.
Sloth:
The one trait that Ace is well-known for is his despise for laziness. He is a strong believer of hard-work and hates people who idle around thinking that things will go their way even though they do not work for it. Ace is known to be quick to anger at such people and go to the extremes of ruthlessness should they display such undesirable behaviour in his presence. Despite all the pettiness over such an issue, Ace understands that an intelligent person is able to work less than someone less so.
Wrath:
You do not want to step on this man’s tail as you might not even have the chance to regret it. Ace is a man who never forgives and never forgets. Once you have crossed his path, do not expect to escape without taken to the underworld.
Envy:
Many sins are born from jealousy; however, Ace does not suffer from such as he usually gets what he wants. Despite that, he is not easily a victim of becoming envious of another as he can be easily satisfied in several aspects of life, another result of the roots of a humble upbringing.

All Ace remembered about his childhood were his foster-parents and his foster-brother. He was raised in an extremely harsh environment, the 76th district of Rukongai. Life was filled with hunger as mostly violence as Ace and his foster-family struggled for survival in those tough times. Not a single day passed without cases of theft or violence as crime ruled the street. It was not until he was 30 years of age when Ace decided enough was enough.
He cruelly ditched his foster family, to whom he did not believe he owed anything to despite them always watching out and taking care of his welfare, and left the 76th district towards the west of Soul Society where he first wielded a katana. It was deep in the forests where he would train day after day to master his array of sword techniques to become a well-known practitioner of sword arts, or otherwise known as Zanjutsu.
By then, Ace had already been pursuing a career of bounty hunting which he would work has a hired assassin, ending innocent and guilty alike in this profession. Of course, he had his fair share of failed missions in which he had to lie low for awhile because both the hunted and the employer would be both searching for a chance to chop his bountiful head off.
His fearful reputation had not gone unnoticed by the Saishuu Gotei Thirteen of course and the courts have tried to attain his services, but to no avail.
Zanpakutou Appearance:
Ace’s weapon is a simple katana with no particular feature whatsoever. The length of the sword is at a wieldy 90 centimetres including the tsuka and weighs 5.6 kilograms. The black tsuka itself is 20 centimetres up to the tsuba which is a simple oval decoration. The crimson red tsuka cloth is wrapped in the usual diamond pattern. The silver metal blade only starts to curve sharply at the last 2 centimetres.
