Application Guide
:: Descending into Chaos ::

Introduction:
It is the destiny of all humans to die. This much is inevitable. The thing that varies between the countless souls constantly departing the world of life is the circumstances of their death. Some depart quietly, with no-one to wish them well in their passage from the world of the living, and these souls usually pass peacefully into Soul Society, a shining bastion of redemption. Not all souls have this luxury of passing peacefully. Often, souls have something left to live for, something that remains after death, tying them to the world of life. Unable to pass on, but unable to interact with the living, these unfortunate souls drift the empty passages of time, growing more and more bitter at the world. Without a shinigami to forcefully take them into Soul Society, these souls finally succumb to their inner hatred, and become hatred itself, fear itself.
They become Hollows.
You have chosen to tread this path of fear and death, to begin this journey, you must follow these footsteps, for they will be the guiding light that will not lead you astray in your passage through the worlds.Application Thread Format:
[Creacion] Name of Character
eg. [Creacion] John SmithThe Application Form:
Name:
The name your character will take. This can be anything you'd like, and does not necessarily have to be the same as your character's name during the time he/she were alive. It does not have to be in Japanese or Spanish, but it should be readable. That is, a name of Gfiulskj Liughlkskdf is not appropriate. Please keep in mind that this is an RPG, and spoiling the overall theme with a silly name will not be tolerated.
Age at death:
How old your character was when he/she died. This should be older than 7, and younger than 120. Realistic ages are a must, as it is unlikely that a 4 year-old would become an all-powerful hollow. If you have a good reason to believe that you should have an exception to this rule, please send a pm to one of the Staff Members with the Arrancar-Section, and they will consider your argument.
Age in Hueco Mundo:
How long your character has been a hollow for. As you are just starting out, this should not be too much - a number of less than 200 is preferable. Again, if you have a good reason for why you should be able to circumnavigate this rule, please send a pm to one of the Arrancar Staff-Members, and they will consider your reasons.
Personality:
This is the general outlook of your character on existence, how he/she acts in normal situations, how he/she acts in fights. The more detailed this is, the more fun it will be to roleplay your character, because a complex character usually allows for more complex and in-depth story-plots. This should be more than 100 words, and there is no upper limit to how long it can be.
Physical Appearance:
What your character looks like as a hollow. Try and make your character look distinctive, as this will allow for more dynamic gameplay. Keep in mind that certain physical features, like organic blades hidden in folds of skin, or wings, can only be added at the addition of Abilities, which take up Ability-Slots. (See the Facultades Guide (http://www.bleachanime.org/forums/showthread.php?t=23895)). This section should also include basic explanations of how your character participates in battles in relation to its physical elements, for example, if it uses size to its advantage, or if it takes advantage of the fact that it looks like a snake.
Biography:
This is usually a summary of your character's time in the world of the living, a description of his/her death, and a short introduction to their time in Hueco Mundo. You should aim to create openings for future story-plots for your character, as missions that are linked to your character's life are a great way to produce in-depth storylines. While you should reveal some things, you should also keep a couple of things from the reader, to be revealed later in missions. Your biography should be written in a similar fashion to a story, and should be written well. You should aim for more than 200 words, but the more, the merrier.
Sample Chapter:
This is a quick way for whoever is grading your application to see how well you write. This can be about anything you want, but relating it to Bleach or your character is recommended. It is not essential that you write one, but it is strongly recommended that you do, as it is a great way of showcasing your talents. You should aim for more than 1000 words, and it should not be much longer than 5000. Restrictions:
You may not, under any circumstances, create characters that:
Exist, or have existed in the Bleach manga series. The BARPG is set 3000 years ahead of the original Bleach, and all of the characters no longer exist, and may not be created. In that aspect, you may not create characters that are obviously very similar to official characters.
Already exist in the BARPG.
Are mentioned in the plot of the BARPG, without the express permission of the Story Staff. (Xabre and Ambivalence). For example, if the character Niirosuki Tenshi was not actually played by a person, but his part in the story was narrated, he would not be a character open to creation.

Once you have had your Creacion looked at, the application grader will give you the go-ahead to post a Nacimiento. The format for the thread-title of this thread is identical, only you put [Nacimiento] rather than [Creacion].
In basic terms, the Creacion can be considered a rough-draft. You may edit it as much as you like. You cannot, however, edit your Nacimiento.
If your Nacimiento is approved, you are then officially a part of the BARPG, and you can proceed in your quest to become the very best there is.
Beware: Make sure your Nacimiento is good before you post it. You don't have to get approval to post your Nacimiento, but it is strongly recommended. If there are too many spelling/grammatical errors, or if it is not completed adequately, it will be denied. If you have a Nacimiento denied three times, you will not be able to create another one. This is to ensure that only people who are committed to putting some effort into their activities in the BARPG exist within it.
It is impossible to have your Nacimiento denied if you have the go-ahead to post it, but if you do not wait for a Application Staff Member, it will be difficult to have your application approved.

Now that arrancar applications are up, we are proud to say that there is only a little bit of difference. Hollow applicants should apply in the same way the shinigamis do, with the thread title (and application format) as the difference. First off, the applicant should make a rough draft of their application in the Scarlet Lobby (http://www.bleachanime.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28). Please do make sure that you read the Hollow Application guide (http://www.bleachanime.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42947) before applying.

If you are a member returning to the BARPG, you might as well read the note (http://www.bleachanime.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42946) given by Moptophaha. If you receive the head go from your rough draft, then you're free to post your final application in the same subforum. If it gets approved by the Moderators is when you can start role playing with your character, and the rest of the things you need to do after acceptance is already posted in the present Arrancar/Hollow newbie quide (http://www.bleachanime.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38638).
