Physical Appearance:
Maya is a young woman with the appearance of a 25 year old. Her hair is straight, shoulder length and sliver in color. Its sheen causes it to be seen shimmering in the moonlight of Hueco Mundo. Her hair is often kept draped over her left eye, covering the remains of her hollow mask. Her mask fragment covers her left eye and has 3 small holes arranged in a triangle pattern. Her silvery hair is quite a contrast to her tanned skin. She is often seen wearing the traditional white, black trimmed robe of the Arrancar. On her left ankle is a scorch mark but its meaning is unknown at this time.
Zanpakuto:
Her Zanpaktou takes the form of a standard Katana, although short, only measuring 15” in lengths. The guard is made up of 5 donut shaped rings, arranged to look like a beehive. Its often seen sheathed at Maya's right side in a yellow-orange sheath. She also wields it in her right hand, usually holding it backwards (blade facing down).
Personality:
Maya is a calm, quiet arrancar who despises any form of violence, although she will fight for what she believes in. She is unusual in that she sees masked hollows as her children, helping those who have the ability, to evolve.
NPCs Function in the Soul Society (Biography Once Approved):
Not much is known of Maya's past. It is believed that she was once an espada based on her skills and power. The only clue to her past is the burn mark on her leg, which she avoids talking about. She has apparently left her past behind her and now tries to help lower hollows achieve complete, natural evolution.

Her true ranking is unknown at the time although she hints that her powers are underdeveloped. Her name does invoke some fear among the low level hollows residing around Los Noches. Regardless, she has shown proficiency with her Cero abilities and hints its one of her more basic abilities.
