Anyone surprised about the latest Naruto manga?

I was pretty surprised. I thought Naruto would say: "I love you too, but this would have to wait" or something like that. But then again, it was kind of obvious when Sai had that talk with Sakura.

i was super shocked when i went over all the possibilities in my head...the one thing i didnt expect was for him to call her a liar...

especially when im not entirely sure she was lying...maybe its just wishful thinking on my part...

I agree too. That was a bit harsh. I thought he would be nicer. But I'm starting to think that Naruto is contradicting himself. He believed in peace didn't he? Shouldn't he have said what he felt in a nicer manner?

im totally with you...and again i dont think she was lying...i think her feelings have been building for a while...and i mean everyone but him have come to understand that Sasuke is a lost cause...i would have figured he would have just said i understand how you feel but i just can't let this go...not only for you...but for me as well...maybe its just me but i think that particular attitude was just a little too dark for our favorite young ninja...

either that or im starting to believe this is turning into a romance manga and its hurting my feelings...or maybe im just a little to upset about it...i want him to explain himself fully...and not sound like a jerk...

In my opinion, when Naruto called her a liar, it shows us how much he has matured. I was just surprised that we got such an obvious example of it. The old Naruto would have said "I love you too" in an instant, but now he saw straight through Sakura's facade, and the flash backs that Naruto was seeing proved that he still knows she still has feelings for Sasuke. I think Naruto was even a little insulted that she would lie right to his face.

Agreed. I didn't like how he said it. The next manga might clear some things out though.

I'm not really into Naruto that much because I think the plot is childless and repetitive but I read the manga to see what is going to happen in the end.. But it doesn’t surprise me at all that She "confessed" her love for Naruto. She is obviously trying to get him to forget about Sasuke so that they can possibly kill him or attempt to do so.

Although she has no chance of actually succeeding. Even with Kiba, Sai, Lee, and all the other konahna 11 they don't stand a chance. I mean Sasuke went up against all the Kages and held his own.

What chance do a bunch of Chunuines and a Jonin have against that?

actually, sasuke didn't really, he got his butt handed to him by the raikage until sasuke used susanoo, then got tired and almost got killed by the mizukage, and then tobi showed up and saved him. however, i do agree to the sakura and friends try to beat up sasuke part. none of those chunnin stand a chance. sasuke, i think, is kage level or near kage level, seeing how he was able to nearly defeat itachi. naruto, however, could beat him, seeing how tobi knows about both their powers and says that naruto is stronger.

Itachi was half dead before the fight ever began and never had any intentions of killing Sasuke in the first place. So you can't really go off that. Tobi said that before Sasuke showed his use of the mangekyo Sharigan. Plus Sasuke is able to use Sharigan which can surpress the powers of the 9 tailed fox. Without the fox charka Naruto and Sasuke are almost even.

man look at all this sakura says to naruto that she loves him but he knows the truth theres no way she could give up on sasuke so that why he rejected her its sad to hear that naruto finally heard those words but in reality he knew those were lies but still i wonder did she really really mean it but then again why is she going to find sasuke does this mean shes going to confront her sasuke i wonder what could she be planning?
