Captain Yamamoto or 3 Vasto Lordes? Who will win?

I believe Hitsugaya said that the Vasto Lorde had power that surpassed "our Captains" so he never said that Yamamoto wasn't included.

In other words, 1 Vasto Lorde could possibly stomp 'Yama(as hard as that is to believe).

If Wonderweiss' feat against Ukitake means anything, it shows that the elder Captains in their base forms could be potentially one-shotted by a VL.

once again i have to disagree with you haizenth,hitsu said vasto lorde had surpassed the level of average captain,while aizen and yama are considered as twice as strong as average captain,do 1+1 ,if vasto lorde has surpassed average captain level its farly powerful compared to anyone,even yama and aizen,but regardless even if vasto should be considered higher than average captain yama-jii would still just pwn them since surpassed means practically 1<1.2 and twice as strong means 1<2.

note:catch here is it was hitsu talking about it,wht hitsu says i always take with bit of a reservation

(I.E hitsu said his special ability kills 100% sure when used in bankai but still it looked like halibel wasnt too much effected with it)

since hes young,still bit inexperienced and exgerrates pretty much everything to oversized extent

maybe,just maybe 3 vasto`s would have a chance against yama if they would work together and their abilities would play to their own good

but still i would have my money on yama seeing how experienced one may be,has zanpaktou referred as oldest&most powerful firetype zanp..extraordinary reiatsu and bankai which i kinda fear to see already knowing it will be overkill.

that proves nothing haizent,i think we have had this convo before,it all depends on which translation you`re using,u know theres like 4 or 5 groups translating bleach and one of them translated it as "average captain",while one of them translated it the way you just provided it as,besides onemanga which seems to be your source is speed translating group,which is why i dont consider it as most reliable when it comes to accuracy of translations.

the bottom line is that we wont know unless TK confirms it to be one way or another

Haze, point taken, though I wonder how accurate that information is...(meaning in story, not your usage) otherwise, why does SS still stand?

Personally, I think Isshin's statement about vizards becomes a bit more relevant, but that is neither here nor there...

Given Hitsugaya's statement has to come from some type of research, VL's must have been faced before and either turned back, or outright defeated. I'm prone to think that some of Yama-ji's scars are from that type of fight.

To be honest, I don't see how Hitsugaya's statement could be true given he doesn't know the fighting capabilities of all the captains. He certainly has never seen Yama-ji's Bankai...probably has never seen any other senior captains to know their fighting capability. As we know, history books and records aren't always the most accurate of sources...

I'm taking his statement with a grain of salt.

OneManga isn't a translation group, they host various manga...

I'm guessing that you're referring to SleepyFans, which didn't work on the Bleach manga back then.

Wonderweiss one-shotting Ukitake would make sense if he was indeed a Vasto Lorde.

Yamamoto would win, but maybe it would take him a long time. They'd be a tough challenge even for him, so he might even have to push his Shikai. Maybe his Bankai, but the Vasto Lordes would be really strong too...so I'd say Yamamoto, but it's difficult to say clearly.

Well the truth is TK probably wants to show Yamamoto as a symbol of power and wisdom so no matter who the challengers are Yamamoto Genryuusai wins.

well yeah i was referring sleepy fans,anyways onemanga has been using pretty much always the scanlation which is first out,about maxium 7 usually as far as im avared of they are accurate,but now im not exactly sure how thats possible...maybe its how it`s supposed to be,maybe not

about wonderweiss,im pretty sure hes either vasto lorde or fully perfected arrancar with hougyoku,soz i agree with you about this

as i said in my previous post,the bottom line is that we wont know unless TK gives an official confirmation for a some of the translations or explains what he means with it...
