Maybe the same thing is happening to her that is happening to Ichigo's friends. All the Reiatsu that leaks from him affects them and they developed powers. Maybe Kenpachi's Reiatsu leaks onto Yachiru and she's grown stronger because of it.

A strong captain will definitely not fit with a weak VC, so i think this little pinkhead is strong.

I think that Yachiru is freaky strong! When we seen her Spritual pressure during the fight with Kenpachi it was cute and scary! Plus she could jump off walls carrying Kenpachi. Now Ken-chan isn't the biggest character in bleach, but he is pretty big. She has awesome speed to. She may seem like a little girl, but in a fight, she'll probably be the most serious character we ever will see. (I hope)

that'd be scary if she was as strong as zaraki..she'd be a demon! but its probably because she grew up around kenpatchi. but she is very strong herself it seems. but i wouldnt want to be outranked by a 6 year old (or younger...)

The only reason why is yachiru uneffected with kenpachi huge reiatsu thats because yachiru is always with kenpachi all the time even when kenpachi had a fierce fight,she always near him,she always with kenpachi since she was a very young little girl,,, she got to be used to kenpachi huge reiatsu,thats explained why she can stand still calmly even when kenpachi released his fullpower,without an eyepatch and yachiru still uneffected.

yachiru herself,i think she also quite skillfull and powerfull as a v.c, even she has a short,little body,but doesnt mean she is weak like a little girl,in fact yachiru is pretty fast and her power is real,on the same level as other v.c in gotei 13,,i think thats why kenpachi choose her as his v.c,cuz his knew yachirus true ability better than anyone else,,and she is deserved to became a v.c,,altough we havent see how her fight yet,,,

I think she is alot stronger than alot of us expect...

Remember soul society arc when ken was fighting with tousen and the other captain and she went ahead with Hime and crew? Well she flash stepped ahead and said ill take care of the strong guys you guys just come behind and take care of the weaklings...

And they made it up to the Sougyouku so she gotta have some skills?

I think Yachiru can handle herself in combat situations. Im sure being around Kenpachi all the time, she's learned some stuff about battle. Did she just become part of the Gotei 13 when Kenpachi became captain, or did she have to go through the schooling that shinigami, like Rukia and Renji had to go through?

I guess, in my eyes, she just gave off that aura of a character who looks cute/acts cute, until you get them mad. Kind of like Hunny, from OHSHC.
As if she just keeps her strength hidden behind that cutesy appearance. xD

Good question.

I assume she entered shinigami school at the same time that Ken-chan did and wen ken-chan killed the then kenpachi and took his name and position he automatically chose Yachiru as his lieutenant and she got promoted. But just because she got a high position so easily I wouldnt underestimate her she seems quite powerful as I said in soul society when her and chad, inoue and Ishida went up to the Sougyouku she said she was gonna take all the hard guys and they could take the weaklings...

Yachiru is a character that does'nt get too much of the spotlight,although she's on one of the most talked about characters back.So I created this thread to find out some info about her,and see how many people like her,and if so why?
What does her zanpaktou look like?Does she ever get older?Does she ever have or get into a fight?What is her rank/seat?Will her power exceed Zaraki's power?

Her Zanpakuto has a flower shaped hilt.

Her rank is Vice-Captain of the 11th Squad.

Does she ever get older? We'll have to find out.

She does have to get into fights, she hangs out with Kenpachi.

Will her power exceed Zaraki's? Currently, I believe it is close to, but still slightly weaker then Zaraki's.
