Yeah, but since he don't have bankai you can't put him on the list! Soooo that leaves the other captains! I forgot who I voted for but whoever it was I think tousen or myurri... They both got weak bankais!

Unohana's is the 'manta' zanpakuto (Minazuki), but it heals people (and well enough to bring them back from near death, like it did with Hitsugaya and Hinamori). That's what she does for a living, so it's suited very well for her needs.

Besides, as far as we know, Minazuki is her shikai. Not her bankai.

Zaraki hasn't awoken his zanpakuto yet so technically his is the weakest. but once it has i think then it will most likely be tosens. it doesn't seem to cause injury like the others, it just takes the senses away. but if tosen can't cut them himself, the person just gets to sit in the darkness. And i agree with Senbonsakurazukamori, i didn't choose Unohana cuz i believe her bankai might be the opposite of her shikai.

tousen has one of the sronger, he can take the sences away, and cut them down easly, it is vary effective, the only reason he lost to zaraki is because he was toying with him. He could have cut him in half in one hit

I agree about Tousen. I think people are seriously underestimating what his bankai is capable of. Being denied all of your senses except touch is a pretty big deal and against someone less resilient than Kenpachi, his bankai probably means certain death.

My vote goes to Tengen. It's big yes...but it's also incredibly slow. Komamura takes it in the piece more than any other shinigami, save Renji and he relies solely on his zanpakuto when he fights so it can't be that powerful.

I also don't get how people can think Ashisogi Jizo is weak. It's pretty cheesy actually. It paralyzes you in shikai, poisons you in bankai while still being fairly powerful at the same time physically. It's main knock seems to be durability...but if you're paralyzed first, who cares?

Uryuu defeating Mayuri was a sacrifice for the story. If Mayuri had defeated Uryuu, he would've been dissected and removed from the story...which while entertaining, would've gone against precedent.

Besides, Uryuu had to go SS himself and put all of his power into that one shot, rendering him utterly powerless for quite a long time.

I would have to say Gin. His zanpakuto can only extend to unparellel length. Although, we haven't seen it in good use in a fight or it's full power. Until that happens I'll stick with my opinion.

Well if we want to get all technical, it would be Zaraki or Unohana because Zaraki does not even know his Zanpakutō's name, so it is just a sword. Unohana's does not have any offensive power as far as we know, but it serves its purpose extremely well.

If we don't include those two then I would say Tosen because the Zanpakutō does not actually harm them, just take away their senses. It is probably not perfect since Zaraki was able to find a way to sense Tosen in their battle, unless he is just a monster. xP
