Chapter 380: Devil, Devil, Devil, Devil

Yea, I'm kinda disappointed in this last chapter, Kenpachi is now just cutting of the leg of Yammy, when he struggled against 5. If Zaraki took the beating before using kendo, and then owned him, was the it that big of a jump.

Especially if Ichigo unleashed a Gt in his new hollow form, and just gave him a scratch. The fluctuation is just too much in the last 2 chapters to really get a good grip on the power levels that are represented here.

I can go with tk and see one character having a progression in a short time, due to circumstances which we don't really understand yet. But having Zaraki do it just seems out of place.

Ichigo was able to withstand Yammy until he tried his mask, so, Ichigo's bankai has been getting stronger.

Check that, it was Byakuya that took his leg off, like seriously, not even in shikai.

Well to be honest, they did catch Yammy by surprise and he's not the sharpest guy out here. But I get the feeling he may have something left up his sleeve and it may actually take the combined strength of both Captains to defeat him.

I agree with Iluvatar83.

Yammy took a direct hit from ichigo's getsuga tensho in bankai form and with his mask on only to get scratched... his head should have rolled.

I liked this chapter. I liked how it hinted at the changes and sutff that have occured resulting from Ichigo's fight with Ulquiorra. Stuff like Ichigo's feelings and attitude, Orihime's feelings, Ichigo's feelings towards the Espada, his new powers, stuff like that.

Byakuya and Zaraki arriving on the scene was great too. Anyways it's not like Ichigo is renowned for his cutting power, especially with GT so I don't really see the big deal. Also, it's not like you can use this as a decent way to represent power levels in the first place so really I don't see how it's a big deal. Something had to happen to punctuate their arrival, it's not like Yammy has lost something useful, he as several more legs to use. Also, dunno if it was Zaraki in the first place, seemed like Byakuya to me but either way it's not that important.

While Zaraki and Byakuya on the scene does make for some interesting stuff, I still think Unohana will cut in at some point. Byakuya and Zaraki will pwn for a bit but then Yammy will get angry and start dealing some major damage and such and then that would be when Unohana steps in. By entering the stage after Zaraki and Byakuya were beaten and then go on to take down Yammy would serve to emphasise how strong she is. That's how I think things will go down in the long run.

I agree with Muzzy, I liked this one. I initially wanted Ichigo to come out guns blazing, but after reading and seeing how things went, I enjoyed it. Ichigo actually responded in a more mature way than the way I saw him responding. Muzzy explained it perfectly in his first paragraph.

I thought it was good to see Rukia's perspective, what little there was as well, because of all the people there, her input in the situation helped bring it out a little more.

Then there was Byakuya and Zaraki's arrival, which I thought was interesting...The two of them are like night and day to me, so for them to both arrive, 2 former combatants of Ichigo's, and assist him, it's going to make for a battle I'm interested in seeing play out...

I'm hoping 380 or 381 brings Unohana in the picture, I'd like to see her come into play at some point, because I can see Yammy trying to use her as some type of ploy (he's not very bright) and I'd love to see that fall back on him in a big way...

I personally liked the chapter in the end, when and appear, wondering what have happened to ichigo do you think his Hollow Power have run out? aH other thing about the Yammy remember ichigo is kind of tired from the fight with ulqui so that might be why he only got to cut him a little, another thing that caught my attention is the ichigo Hollow mask barely had stripes does this has any relation with his power? cant waint for next chapter

i agree with you of cutting down where with his full power & his GT at his best gave a scratch to yammy...
good part is is on his move & bad part is has been left out...

i think there will be a huge quarrel b/w & of fighting yammy....

Well I think unohana will show up but she will have a probably not help much either then Ichigo is able to mask up again, and even he won't make mutch of a dent then all of them attack together and bam yammy goes down

Take a look, I know I first initially thought it was kenpachi, but it was Byakuya that did that to his leg. Kenpachi was complainin about him getting the first blow in.

I do like the fact that we are getting to see the after effects of what happened to Ichigo, but I just dont like the fluctuation of power levels the three have.

The first blow could have been the Kidou that the only person who could have used it between Zaraki and Byakuya would have been Byakuya. But that's neither here no there.

I don't know what's going on but Ichigo seems a bit darker than usual and strangely I'm liking it. At first I thought going back to HM would have been a waste of time cause Karakura Town is where most of the action is, but I'm enjoying each chapter so far. The only thing I'm hoping for is more Unohana time cause I'm hoping that Yammy lives up to the hype of being the last Espada since some of them were somewhat disappointing.
