Muramasa = Hisana's(Rukia's older sister)?

Okay, I've been giving this alot of thought after putting a few clues together, I'll post them below.. Tell me what you think.

1.) Byakuya said in episode 240 his instinct is to protect his pride. In the later episodes in the Aizen season when he fought the 7th Espada he told him he killed him because he pointed his blade at his pride(Rukia). So his pride obviously means his family.

2.) Most zanpaktou usually develop physical characteristics of their masters. Senbonzakura looks very much like Byakuya, Sode no Shirayuki looks like Rukia, and Tobiume looks somewhat like Hinamori. Now... Look at a picture of Hisana, and look at a picture of Muramasa.

3.) The main key factor.. Muramasa always has that odd cough, exactly like Hisana. They both seem to do it alot. And Muramasa did say he killed his master.. I'm thinking his sickness is what killed Hisana.

Well... That's what I got. What do you guys think? Took me a while putting this together. lol There's still some unanswered questions I have about that whole subject... But in the end I'm sure it'll all be clear, if I'm right and all.

well for all we know, the owner of muramasa is dead, and without himj speaking who his owner is, we cannot just say anything about hisana, anyways she isn't even a shinigami, just some fella in soul society...

this is one of the more interesting descriptive possibilities ive read...

while it would be nice for the story to be that interconnected...i doubt it is...

one it could create too many plot holes from the main story and two because it would leave too many openings for TK to deal with...

but it sounds more possible than some of the other more ridiculous things ive heard...and the points that you made would lead to the conclusion that Murmasa belongs to Hisana...

however i believe it is probably more likely that he belongs to someone else in the family because Hisana is never shown to possess the powers of a shinigami...

for me it would be just too much of a stretch considering how sick she was supposed to be...but who knows...

we may get some major surprise...

Okay,after reading the points that have led to the belief that Muramasa is Hisana's Zanpaktou,I must say am impressed at all those coincidences that you have come up with. The one that really got me was the cough and how when Muramasa said that I killed my owner he might not have been meaning the literal killing of slicing through the owner.
But one thing is for sure, Muramasa does belong to someone close to .Why else would protect him yet in the filler arch with the bounto he said that anyone who disturbs Seiretei's peace must be sliced down.
BTW,have we ever seen the parents of ?

No, we did see his grandfather though, Ginrei. Who was the previous Captain. It isn't sure if he's dead or not. But if he's still alive I'd put him in the Yamamoto line of godmode powers

Back to topic:

Hisana was never in Shinigami training. She also never achieved Shikai or Bankai. If she did, it would have been made known before the filler.

That's one interesting point of view!!!I'm not sure about Hisana being a shinigami or not but muramasa must definitely belong to someone that was close to otherwise it wouldn't make sense his speech about protecting his pride, that i agree it means his family, and then killing

I just think, we haven't cleared up about Hisana, either she is part of Shinigami or not...

But, I just have an interesting thinking of those angle viewing...

Well, yeah, Byakuya said like that, but that's not mean if Muramasa is Hisana's zanpakotou...

I just think too, why Byakuya too defend and protect about Muramasa, and Byakuya said if anyone attack Muramasa, he will kill instantly in that place...

Hmmm...

I haven't get any idea yet. but we only can see and watch what will happen next episode...

From what I know it doesn't say anywhere in the show or manga that Hisana was or wasn't a shinigami. Correct me if I'm wrong. Personally I think she was, I don't see howels she could've met Byakuya. He's a noble after all, I can't see him spending time in the Rukon districts. Though how they met IS still unknown, I know.


Yeah, this was an interesting find.. I've read a few of the other theorys... The Kenpachi one kind of made me laugh a little. But also in episode 238 while all the zanpakuto were doing their own thing, 'Muramasa' was the only thing on Senbonzakura's mind. He not only asked Hinaco and Tobiume of his where abouts, but also ended up saving him just in time from Ichigo. I think Senbon and Byakuya have the same intensions in mind, to protect Hisana's zanpakuto(if it's hers). Or Byakuya may have another reason for his actions of protecting him.

Yeah, I also thought the same theory.

Also, Byakuya told Ichigo that he couldn't let him harm this [Muramasa] man.

If not Hisana, maybe someone close to Byakuya.

Let's just remember that because of Hisana, Byakuya has done quiet crazy things. *love*

Ps- I think that (as always) Yoruichi (who has gone "investigating" since Ichigo came to SS) is going to appear at the end to explain everything

LOL so typical of fillers...and manga too...she just appears out of nowhere and all comes clear...and since she knew Byakuja since they were little I think she may be AGAIN the only one to have a clue about what's happening and know he's reasons!
