Oldest to Youngest captains

The other day I was thinking about the age ranks of the captains. The top are pretty easy to figure out and the bottom three as well (more or less) but its the middle that a little cloudy. This is based on the original 13 captains at the start of the show.

Obviously is the oldest it's highly likely that is second. A little debate on my part on who is older between and , but I think is a little older (maybe the SS equivalent of a year or so).

When it was time to fight against it was who suggested that the fight be moved to a location so other wont be hurt. And during the current filler, when and were talking, seemed slightly more calm while was a little more upset. This seem that slightly more mature thus older.

The youngest 3 are fairly easy to figure out as well. We know is the youngest and that and are similar in age but in the TBTP arc looks to be a little older than when they are shown.

The real question is the rest of the captains. Where do you think they all fit? Any ideas? Make you list so I can see what everybody thinks.

i know :zaraki is right after the guy with the hat and aizen should be around gins age or zaraki age

Oldest to youngest

1. Old man Yamma (Duh)
2. Unohana
3. Ukitake and Shunsui
4. Aizen
5. Mayuri
6. Tousen
7. Khommamrua
8. Byakuya
9. Gin
10. Zaraki
11. Toshiro


Obviously Yamma is the oldest. Unohana was referred to by Ukitake and Shunsui to be their seniors so she is older then them. Next comes Ukitake and Shunsui as they are referred to by Yamma as two of the very first Captains.

It starts to get difficult after this. Next comes Aizen because he was already a Lt over 100 years before the start of Bleach. He had to have been a Shinigami long before that to be a Vice Captain. Mayuir comes next for he appeared in the TBA arc as was locked up and had been there for a long time. Tousen and Khommaru come next because Tousen was in the TBA arc under the 9th Division. And Kohmmaru went to the Shinigami academy with Tousen.

Next comes Byakuya followed by Gin, Zaraki and Toshiro.

That's an.....interesting list. how did you come to the conclusion that is the second youngest captain????

Because Tousen was already a Captain when Zaraki killed the previous 11th Division Captain and took the title. Byakuya was shown to be a Captain while Gin was still Aizen's VC. Toshiro had just been made Captain some time before the start of the series. That leaves Zaraki juts before Toshiro.

If you remember when Rukia had just been accepted into the 13th Division Byakuya was already a Captain. In the episode with Momom’s flash back Aizen and his Vice Captain Gin came and saved Hisagi, Renji, Kira, and Momoe from hollows. And when Rukia was being lead to the execution ground and Gin came by and messed with her. She went into a flash back. If I’m not mistaken she even said that Byakuya had become a Captain shortly before Gin had.

I remember her saying right around the same time. Gin could have been a cap first. between the two of them its probably a matter of a few weeks or months but I don't recall anything that says which one absolutely became captain first.

Komamaru
SoiFon

Shiro-chan

ok this is the list that makes the most sense based on what we have seen and read thus far...i just can't put Zaraki at the bottom of the list...he spent god knows how long wondering around the SS fighting random people and slaughtering stuff...we cant just make him the youngest based on the fact that he came in last or next to last...whatever...

And Soifon was pretty hard to place as well...i put her as older than Byakuya because she was already in the squad while Yoruichi was stealing his hair ribbons....it makes the most sense that Soifon, Byakuya, Gin and Shiro-chan are the youngest of all the captains...even though i guess it is really relative...

just saying

to me that looks rather well done list but in my opinion you should switch tousen and komamura with each other,if my memory serves me right komamura was already in gotei 13 when gtousen came soz it would only make sence that he became captain sooner than tousen..other than that i agree
