Zaraki doing Getsuga Tenshou

I am really sure that in the latest fight against Byakuya Zaraki did a Getsuga Tenshou. Although it doesn't look the same he lifted his sword gathered reitsu in his blade and then shot it forward at Byakuya. As far as I am concerned this is a Getsuga Tenshou what do you guys think?

Okay...first of all...Getsuga Tenshou is Zangetsu's ability.
It's not something that anyone can do...

Second...that was kendo...he already did that against Nnoitra...

So I disagree, it is impossible for a shiningami to use abilities of other zanpakutos...

well while it is true...the ability or move called "Getsugatenshou" is unique to Zangestu and is then an Ichigo move

It has already been explained what the getsugatenshou is...remember when Ichigo fought Byakuya in the SS arc and he explained that the power of his Zan was to cast an amplified swing by absorbing his spiritual pressure...

well if you think about it in simple terms it would be unbelievably simple to assume that others couldnt just put all their fighting force into a single swing...we all know they can put all of their energy into an attack...so

i would assume while it isnt really a getsugatenshou...it probably was an amplification of a swing that Kenpachi made...and the reason he can do it is probably because he doesnt have a relationship with his zan...he is simply using his massive spiritual pressure to the best of his ability...like

but to call it a straight getsugatenshou is an over simplification

Not quite yet. Final Death has a point here. Ichigo basically just gathers up a bunch of reiatsu and launches it out. Urahara does the same thing with Benehime. But, Zaraki didn't quite need to use his zanpakutou to gather the energy. He pretty much just launched it out on the fly, just like he launched away everyone else from the battlefeild. XD

It's almost the same thing if you think about it.

Still...that's not Getsuga Tenshou...GT is a concentrated energy blast in the form of a wave or crecent moon.
While Zaraki is just pouring reiatsu....

Kendo is done with two hands. Zaraki used one. The possibility of him using Kendo at that time is as low as the possibility that that was a Getsuga Tenshou - 0,0%.

Oh and don't forget that this is a filler. for as far as fillers go, Zaraki could even use kidou. That is, just like him shooting his reiatsu towards his opponent, not something he could do in a canon episode.

Kenpachi has never shown such a feat and shouldn't be able to because that would imply that he actually had control over his reiatsu.

We all know Kenpachi sucks at reiatsu control...

How are we certain that Getsuga Tenshou is uniquelly a Zangetsu move. I agree that Ichigo says to Byakuya that it's the only move Zangestu has tought him, but does that mean it has to be soley for Zangetsu as this quote helps me say...

Here is the basis Urahara also uses Getsuga Tenshou and don't try and tell me it's Benihime's ability, because Benihime's ability is the blood mist wall. So if Urahara could do a getsuga tenshou why wouldn't Zaraki, if Zaraki has so much reitsu, why can't he just focus it all in his blade and blast it forward, it doesn't have to be in cresent moon shape as it wasn't in the episode.

There are more than meets the eye about Getsuga Tenshou. First its bluish in colour and shaped like crescent moon when its blasted in shikai form. Second, its reddish black when its blasted in bankai form. Not mentioning if Shirosaki himself is using Getsuga Tenshou, we have seen it that when Shirosaki uses Getsuga Tenshou, its always wild and powerful. And its not necessarily crescent moon shaped. Third and lastly, remember the time when Ichigo and Zangetsu battled it out using their full power where Zangetsu is using Getsuga Tenshou in bankai form and Ichigo using just shikai form?

So, there would be no way that Kenpachi is using Getsuga Tenshou. Using getsuga tenshou need a voice command. Zangetsu, Shirosaki and Ichigo, three of these, when they uses Getsuga Tenshou, they will issue out a voice command before releasing Getsuga Tenshou. I am sure Kenpachi did not have a voice command. Its purely a reiatsu wave that comes out from his enormously powerful reiatsu.
