Byakuya vs Kenpachi !!! SHOWTIME at last!

This is a fair fight! With or without his Bankai!
Although its over already I feel I need to make a couple points here.

First off, when kenny took off his patch, it was'nt to counter the bankai but to remove every one in the area! As said it strained his body to do so, but he was intentionaly spiking his power to create a massive blast, & even before he spiked his power the power of his riatsu was enough to make the bankai submit! This means Byakuya's shikai would never touch kenny since the shikai is weaker than the bankai! This would not drain kenny's power over time to block it since it was his riatsu alone that pushed it away without trying! That would be saying that when he takes off his patch & releases his natural power actually weakens him over time, wich does not make sence since it does not seem to effect anybody else.

Second, Kenpachi is very perceptive even though he is portraide as dumb!
He has often thought of away to beat his opponent!
Kenny vs Tousen - He thought of a way to catch tousen & put an end to his annoyence!
Kenny vs Ichinose - When he appeared, he blew away Ichinose's shikai away so this is not somthing new! Also when he was traped in his Bankai he realized he did not have enough power with his patch on to break free!
Kenny vs Nnoitra - He came up with the idea of removing his arms so he could'nt block his attacks, & when that did'nt work & realized he was in trouble he thought & used his kendo!
My point here is that though he is portraide as stupid, he has said very intelligant, & perceptive thing's, as well as being perceptive durring battle, although only when in a pinch!
Here are some example's of the influence's he has made while preaching to his foe!
Kenny vs Ikkaku - When Ikkaku wanted him to finish him off, Kenpachi picked him up & said that if you lose without duing then you were lucky! Dont except a lose & wish for death, but except death after your dead! This had enough of an impact on Ikkaku that it made him want to live, & changed his life!
Kenny vs Ichinose - Ichinose ignored Kariya's wish's to fullfill his selfish desire to avenge his old captain's death. Kenny relizing this stated that if he really caredabout Kariya's plans then he would have choosen to finish off every one else ignoring Kenny. This showed Ichinose plan of actions he should take, not because some one told him to but because that is what he believes in & want's to do! Ichinose's last word's were " MY CAPTAIN" this showing that Kenpachi was worthy to be a captain by proving he was a good leader!
Third, I believe you can measure power level's in bleach, but you need to ignore the first arc! Ichigo won all those fights simply cause they could'nt have the star of the show die off! If you ignore that, the rest of the show makes more sence with the showing of power level's!
Ichigo's bankai grants him faster movement, but his power stay's the same! This would exsplain why ichigo could'nt cut Nnoitra but Kenpachi could! If Byakuya went up against Nnoitra he prabably would have been killed since he might have not the power to cut him! Same goes for kenny if he faced the other espada not having any real defence against his amor!
I believe battle classes are important in bleach & most realize that there are different form of power! If a guy's fast but lacks the strength to harm a tough guy then the tough guy has the advantage! If a guy is strong but cant catch the fast guy to harm him then the fast guy has the advantage! there are other battle types but this is all in shades of grey of course!

kenpachi is like a zombie..... no pain. almost every attack is futile on him. hes also like bryan fury. no pain. rusher.... no pain.... do or die.

byakuya is smart.... massive smarter. skillful. fast.


if duel to last one standing.... i bet on byakuya. he'll eventually make kenpachi fall.

Ok... I have one point to make.. Releasing massive ammounts of rietsu does weaken the body and it does so to more than just Kenpachi. Kenpachi chooses to release massive ammounts at one point. Why do you think Ichigos getsuga tenshou is limited even in his bankai.. He can only use it at full power a few times before it leaves him drained and feeling tired.. Just thought I would point that out.. =D

But he is not really releasing his power! That is just the natural power that surrounds him! If he were to spike his power or to power up that would drain his power for sure, but when he removes his eye patch he is not powering up but taking the handicap off.

Senbone went bankai - kenpachi took off the patch - His "NATURAL" aura blew away the bankai - Kenpachi powered up - He attacked Senbone unleashing "HIS" form of Gesuga Tenshou creating the massive blast pushing every one away!

Do you see why Im saying that that would not weaken Kenpachi to render the bankai useless!

This is how I would say it. Releasing there riatsu does not drain drain them, but forcing your riatsu does!

This is how I would say it. Releasing there riatsu does not drain drain them, but forcing your riatsu does!

Relasing your rietsu, no matter in how massive of amounts, cannot weaken you. It simply leaves you exausted from releasing so much power. The strain on the body is what makes them seemed "Weakened". In fact its simply that they just released massive amounts of an energy that is them. If it weakened them as you say then Kenpachi wouldn't have been able to release it so many times in one battle... Honestly I was hoping that Byakuya would put up enough of a fight for Kenpachi to have to use his shikai, if he actually got it like rumored after his fight with Ichigo, which I hope he did.. With how powerful he is, his zanpaktous power could be something to match Yamamoto if used right.

Two things.. One: At least Kenpachi isn't an emo h o m o. And two: Who was the closest to winning the fight? Byakuya? No.. Kenpachi.. He might have been tired but he still could have owned Byakuya had Ashisogi Jizou not intervened.

In other thread, I've posted Byakuya vs. Kenpachi and I think Byakuya will win. Not because I like him. I actually like Kenpachi way more than Byakuya. But the simple fact remains which none of you pointed out--Kenpachi is a pure fighter seeking a strong good opponent but he doesn't care nor did he ever spend time to get to know his zanpakuto and that puts him at a disadvantage because he won't reach his fullest potential without a relationship with his zanpakuto.

Whereas Byakuya, though not as crazily strong and seemingly immortal like Kenpachi has fully developed his shunpo and bankai so my bet in Byakuya!
