Default Bleach series reboot?

I just cannot help myself to think think that Kubo somehow is using this training arc to change Bleach.

If this is in the long run a good thing, I am not sure yet, but do you people think that
  1. Kubo is using this arc to change Bleach in order to keep the attention of fans?
  2. And, if so, do you think that this is a good thing?

Discuss!

This is a reboot. Kubo ended the last arc and began this one with a timeskip and completely new plot. (OP got a timeskip but the plot continues)

About your no1 though, i think he's trying to do the opposite this time.

He said it himself that the HM and arrancar arcs were pure fanservice, so i guess this time he's trying to do things right, i dunno...

Yeah I think that the previous arc about the whole transcedents was more of a preview besides it was hinted on some kind of 3rd release as well. I mean what would be the point of making ichigo alone transcending all shinigami alone? And yeah aizen is caught seemingly so that there can be made place for a new villian I'd say that that he is related to aizen somehow. But I doubt that this will be the LOL I trolled you all with KS type of arc.

Personally speaking, a "reboot" to me implies that they are going back in time and redoing the series completely. For it to really be a reboot, in my opinion, Kubo would have to completely distance himself entirely from everything that he has done so far and ignore it, then go back to the beginning. I will agree that this could be considered a reboot in the sense that a long period of time has elapsed and the plot is, arguably, changed; however at the same time, the new arc is still based on everything that has happened in the manga that has come before it. So honestly, regardless of how the arc turns out or what comes next, I don't think that you can call this a reboot of the series.

i'm pretty shocked as to how the entire HM and arrancar arcs were pure fanservice as they tied in so well with the story... The presence of the vaizards sounds more believable (as the entire plot could have gone on without them, though i doubt SS would have won)

It feels a lot like a reboot though, seeing as Aizen met his end so quickly.

its nt a reboot, but the beginning of the end. Since the beginning, Kubo's plans for Ichigo were to make him the true hybrid. With the final getsuga tenshou, he was half-way there. Now he is focusing on an aspect of ichigo that he had nt touched on, the human part. Once Ichigo masters fullbring, and regain his shinigami/hollow or the fused form of the 2, he shall transcend the power that he had while fighting aizen.

If the HM/Arrancar was "fanservice" then he is a worse mangaka than I thought.
That is sad. And that is why it has fallen.
Man what happened? This forum used to be Miami, LA, or Chicago.
Now it is North Dakota or Alaska.
